Electrical Construction QA/QC Inspector and Handover Specialist
Position Summary: The Electrical Construction QA/QC Inspector and Handover Specialist in
Florence, South Carolina, will ensure that all electrical installations meet established quality
standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations. This role involves coordinating with the general contractor, conducting detailed electrical inspections on behalf of the owner, and facilitating a smooth handover process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical systems and installations to verify
compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with the general contractor to address and resolve any electrical quality
issues or discrepancies.
• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures specific
to electrical construction activities.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspection findings, test results, and any corrective
actions taken.
• Facilitate the handover process by ensuring all electrical systems are tested,
commissioned, and meet the required standards before final acceptance.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams regarding electrical quality and
compliance matters.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards, codes, and best practices related to
electrical construction and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications:
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical construction, with a focus on quality
assurance and control.
• In-depth knowledge of national and local electrical codes and standards.
• Proven experience in conducting electrical inspections and managing QA/QC processes in
construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in Quality Management or related field.
• Experience with commissioning and handover processes in construction projects.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
